"The second work on Static II is a grim and sometimes even aggressive piece of music in which threat, darkness and malice seem to be elements. The danger can come from all sides and suddenly appear, so as a listener you are always on the lookout. In the second part of the piece a rhythm is created with tapping sounds, while on top of that the intensity increases considerably. The tension that is created is immense. Like in a bloodcurdling film you stay put, afraid of what is to come but at the same time mesmerized by what is being played."
