about

"First we get a squeak of a bow and a trumpet with blocked air outflow, then a bit of baroque in opposition to a rumbling drone - only sighs and bitter regrets. A moment later, the dry, matt cello talks to the prepared sounds of a tin plate - funeral phrases, but also sensual imitations. In the fourth movement, the bow leaps over the fingerboard, and a small trumpet squeals like a bird. After a while, both instruments definitely tune in baroque - beautiful, molecular glides and murmurs. The atmosphere of liberated chamber music does not seem to leave the musicians, because in the next part we are sent by moans and sighs, full of exalted emotions. Cello descends low on his feet, the trumpet leaps skyward. Right after that, a handful of aggressive phrases, preparations, but also melodious plots. The seventh miniature focuses only on prepared sounds. A little tug of war, nothing but little things, lovely details."
